Priscilla is the illegitimate daughter of Jack Shinra and Gabriella Taylor. She is very headstrong and independent but she has a knack for getting herself into trouble. Thanks to being raised by her maternal grandfather, she was taught to be compassionate and kind. Though she can sometimes be a bit selfish, she generally has the best intentions at heart.Priscilla has a bad habit of jumping headfirst into things without considering the consequences beforehand. This is normally because she wants to prove herself to her older brother that she is fit to bear the Shinra name.
Born Priscilla Elise Taylor.
Priscilla had no knowledge of her relation to Shinra until around the age of sixteen when her grandfather passed away. Up until then, she had lived with him outside of Midgar and did so without knowing that he was hiding her from Jack Shinra.After his death, she obtained all of his belongings. One of the items was a diary belonging to Grabriella Taylor, her mother. As she flipped through the pages of her diary, she learned the story of Gabriella Taylor. How she was an intern at Shinra HQ that worked directly under Jack Shinra and about the dark circumstances that led to Gabriella's pregnancy.Gabriella ended her internship and instead sought to bring Jack to justice for the crime he comitted. She wasn't afraid to face a powerful man like Jack Shinra but she wouldn't be able to do anything until after the birth of her baby girl. She knew that facing off against Jack would put herself in harms way so she would put off her revenge for the sake of her unborn child.There were many other notes and files among the belongings. One such file contained the death records of Gabriella Taylor and Priscilla Shinra
Jack Shinra had eventually got word about what Gabriella was planning and intended to take action when she was at her most vulnerable; during labor.
In an attempt end her life inconspicuously, he paid a doctor to do the dirty work for him. What he didn't expect was that the child would be spared, her death faked.Once Priscilla learned all these things, she intended to stay as far away from Shinra as possible. That was until she watched a live broadcast showing the inauguration of Rufus Shinra, the man who would be considered her half brother by blood. That was when she decided to meet what was left of her family.
At the age of seventeen, she ventured to Midgar for the first time and sought to meet her brother.Upon her arrival, things were not what she expected them to be. There was a clear divide between the citizens of Midgar. Still, she thought that Rufus would fix the wrongdoings and that he would accept her. However, it was not as easy as she thought it would be. Rufus had grown cold thanks to the torment he had endured during his upbringing. He was closed up and kept Priscilla at a distance.Due to Priscilla's persistence, the two were starting to get closer. That was until a threat was made towards Shinra HQ that nearly took Rufus' life. That day Rufus ran her off, knowing that she would stay alongside him to die if he didn't.
She left Midgar broken hearted and made her way to Wutai, where she spent the next five years training.During that time, she never stopped loving her brother. Even though he claimed that he hated her and that she was nothing to him, she couldn't bring herself to despise him in return. She swore to herself that she would never return to Midgar again, that was until she learned of a growing threat within Midgar that sought to overthrow Rufus.She would return at the age of twenty-two with a clear objective in mind. Though she misses Wutai, overtime she would start to grow fond of the city.
Descent Into Madness
After spending some quality time away from the bustling city she now called home, she would return once more. She'd find her brother utterly despaired by the loss of his child, his divorce, and the inevitable loss of his longtime companion, Dark Nation.Due to their complicated relationship, Priscilla had no idea how to help her brother. She was at a loss and sought to help him in any way that she could. Priscilla took it upon herself to seek the aid of a scientist named Hojo. She offered up herself as payment in exchange for the creation of a cloned Dark Nation. However, things quickly turned south.While she successfully gained the prize she sought, something was lost in the process.As Priscilla slowly begins to lose herself, Hojo feeds off the chaos he's caused. She's no longer the Priscilla everyone once knew.

Priscilla is a talented singer and has shared her talents with the world through various charity album releases. Her talent is a gift from her mother and she hopes to use it to help others rather than use it to gain anything for herself.
Other than her blonde hair and fair skin tone, Priscilla is the spitting image of her mother. Her traits are an even mix of both Shinra and Taylor genes.
Priscilla has gained a love for fashion since entering adulthood. She loves experimenting with different styles.
Despite Priscilla's love for fashion, she actually wears white most of the time. She likely would never admit it but this is because she is imitating her older brother. If asked, she will likely deny it and claim that it is merely a coincidence.
Her favorite color is red. She believes that colors envoke emotions and she has always been drawn to the color.
Priscilla once tried to join Avalanche when she was seventeen out of spite. However, Cloud (@ImaginedSoldier), told her that she wasn't fit because she wasn't serious about the cause. After that encounter, she had to rethink her motives.
Rufus (@ShinrasRufus) bought her a stuffed animal for their first Christmas they spent together. Though things got rocky afterwards, she still kept it and treasures it to this day.
Priscilla actually hates being called Princess because it implies that she has lived a privileged life. The only time she will accept the nickname is when it's used as a compliment.
People tend to behave coldly towards Priscilla when they learn her family name. Sometimes she will hide her full name for that reason.
Priscilla is headstrong and will often jump into things without thinking. She likes to handle things on her own out of the desire to prove herself.

Rufus is Priscilla's older half brother and a big part of why she chose to return to Midgar in the first place. Their relationship is complicated but she cares about him a lot.Her initial goal was to prove herself worthy enough to stand beside him in Shinra HQ. Now she has lost the ambitions that once drove her. She fears that her actions have become more of a burden to her brother than intended. Now she seeks to mend the damage she has caused. Deep down, she's beginning to feel unworthy to be called his sister.

Reno and Priscilla met spontaneously and from there, they got to know each other as regular people outside of Shinra. Charmed by his playful humor and gentlemanly qualities, Priscilla began to secretly crush on Reno. It wasn't until she learned about Reno's affection towards Deli that she came forward about her feelings and forced them onto him with a kiss. A kiss that he did not initially accept.Broken hearted and ashamed, Priscilla ran off only to be followed by Reno. Once she began explaining herself, they would share yet another kiss, one more passionate to make up for the first. They spent the night together learning more about one another before reaching the next stage of intimacy.It was that night that Priscilla realized that Reno was more to her than just a simple crush.They dated for a time, but their relationship came to an abrupt end after Priscilla decided they needed some time apart. They still have feelings for one another but circumstances have made things difficult between them.Reno now works as Priscilla's personal turk.
